FRINGE BENEFITS

New hair!
Anyone that knows me, knows how much I constantly whinge about my hair and I think, like any girl, you always want the hair you haven't got. If you have curly hair, you want straight hair, if you have a fringe, you don't want a fringe and if you don't have a fringe, you suddenly want a fringe... and voila, the fringe happened, thanks to my lovely friend Anna at Electric!

I'm still getting to grips with it and the traumatic fringe situations when it's windy or when you're baking hot, sweaty fringes are just not the one, BUT I think I'm growing to love it!

My next plan is to kind of dreadlock the rest of it, much to Annas (and alot of other peoples) dismay. But we'll see... anyone have any dreadlock experiences?

Peace x

  1. Love it! Super Cleopatra-esque. And I say go for dreadlocks, I still am not over this amazing girl I saw one with a completely dreadlocked massive (like, football huge) topknot when I was about ten. So cool x

  2. No locks, but I do have twists. I say to just do it. If anything, you can at least say you had the experience of having them.

  3. I will stop commenting on your posts now because three in quick succession is probably quite weird, but your hair looks great!!! It's so sleek and draws so much attention to your eyes! It's so much better than my fringe. My hairdresser cut me in the exact opposite of what I wanted. I have a round baby face and now I look about 12 years old with a wig on. So bad. Sigh. Growing it out is a pain in the arse but it's only hair. So I say, go with the dreads if you want them! My flat-mate of three years has them and he says they're so easy to care for. You just need 'Knotty Boy' shampoo and not wash it too regularly. If you don't like them you an always cut it out - hair grows after all and life is too long to have the same style until you're an old, old lady!
